About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Anitah Njonga and I am the founder and author at 'Above all else ... GOD'. In August 2014, I accredited this blog as a place where I would share pieces of my lifestyle ranging from fashion, beauty, travel and so much more. With my hopes came a possible clause, 'expect the unexpected' and years later as I look back this platform has been nothing short of that. Not all my hopes have yet come to pass but with the pieces that I've evidently shared as authentic as I could have I have seen this space grow. My faith life has been an open book, my personal style has evolved and I've grown [still growing] as that is part of the journey. As is life I've also walked through seasons of uncertainty, some days have been slow and some months challenging yet each and every one of them have been tailored into the fabric of the story I have told and will tell. Thankfully this blog has not only been about me, my 'Hear Their Story' segment has served as an inspirational outlet where I share encouraging stories of people in different walks of life - in the hope of communicating the extraordinary God, inspiring and stimulating purpose.

All that said, ABOVE ALL ELSE truly speaks to the core of who I am when everything has been stripped away and the veil has been undone, underneath it all I hope, above all else is God!

The purpose of this blog can be summed up in this Bible reading; 1 Timothy 2:4-7 {MSG),
"He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned: that there’s one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth..."

I hope that my passion for what this blog stands for will keep you inspired, refreshed and uplifted.

Enjoy browsing the site, SUBSCRIBE and come again soon!

This blog is dedicated to my father ABDUL NJONGA and brother ASHLEY NJONGA in their absence.
May their souls continue to rest in eternal peace.
