"Make generosity a part of your growth strategy"
Last November I took myself on a challenge I named, '60 Days Of Generosity'. I would say it was a tremendous success judging from where I started from but we all know that was wayyyyy toooooo manyyyy days, however, I was very pleased with the end result.
Throughout the process I learnt that generosity stretches beyond just tapping into your finances but goes all the way to giving your time, your kind words, your knowledge, your experiences etc.
Added to that, in the very beginning, my generosity was a conscious act (I literally did one generous act per day) but with time this slowly became a way of life.

Is there an area in your life you think you can do more of in the area of generosity and/or gratitude?
The Bible says, the world of the generous gets larger and larger (Proverbs 11 verse 24-31).
In the next blog post I will be solemnly sharing more on what the Book of life (Bible) actually says concerning generosity and gratitude. I look forward to you joining me again.
Stay blessed.

Attainable goals

First official Fashion & Faith blog post of the year 2015, how exciting!
Hello and welcome, & if this is your first 2015 visit, Happy New Year.
I hope you enjoyed the festive holidays and hopefully are back in full swing to get the New Year running.
For the many years I have resided in England, January has to be by far the coldest month, so for me that means wrapping up a lot more warmer (as if I don't already but hey).
This Reiss coat has become one I tend to pick all the time as its very comfy and cosy and pretty much goes with anything. I had been eyeing it out for a very long time, several times I saw blogger 'Style Is My Thing' wearing it and loved it since then. I was very happy when I finally got my hands on it November past.
The quality is like no other, it doesn't shred, what you pay for it, is what you get, it is worth every penny and if you ever were looking for an all rounder winter warmer, I would say this is definitely it!
Other than this fur coat, I totally love the beginning of a New Year, its a fresh start, a new page, a new story, new opportunities and most importantly, new goals. The vision is always right there from the start but somehow for many people it all gets lost a few months down the line. This has unfortunately been my story for so many years and I've since learnt that one of the secrets was in setting attainable goals right from the very beginning.
Personally now I like to breakdown my goals into units so this could be according to timescales, what they are, what they are for, when they are for and\or the general magnitude of the target.
Adding on, I've also found that if I can focus all my energy into making one thing work I would rather do that than divert the energy into different projects all at one time.
At the same time, it is equally important to ask God to order your steps and bless your plans. (Proverbs 16 verse 3 and 9)
& like Solomon, let us be found praying to God for wisdom and knowledge, the greatest of all. (1 Chronicles 1 verse 10)
Thank you for visiting today, we look forward to sharing 2015 with you so please do sign up to keep updated.

Happy New Year!

Today is the first blank page of a 365 page book, write a good one.

Just a quick note to say Happy New Year to all my readers.
To see yet another year is a blessing in itself and I am happy that you made it because that confirms God isn't done with you yet.
On 'Fashion & Faith' we are looking forward to a great year of collaborations, interviews, fashion & style and most importantly, a faith filled influential year.
I am super excited for all that I'm believing God for.
Already, believe it or not, 2015 looks like its going to the busiest year to date but hey the Word of God says in Philippians 4 verse 13, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, amen!
I pray opportunity, favour, blessings, victorious testimonies, the glory of the Lord and every good thing will be yours for the taking this year!
Be blessed!
Love from Valerie and I xx
